I believe healing happens when we are seen, heard, and deeply connected to our bodies.
As a Clinical Therapist trained in EMDR and Yoga, I offer a holistic approach for women looking to overcome trauma and rebuild self-worth.
I understand the pressure of carrying it all. As a mother, I know firsthand the complexities of gender expectations, trauma, and the strength it takes to break cycles.
I provide a sacred, non-judgmental space to process painful memories—treating the whole person, not just symptoms.
If you are struggling with self-esteem, feeling "stuck," or navigating past trauma, I am here to help you embody your strength.
Together, we can help you find your ground and live freely.
More About Nina
Nina is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, with a Master of Science degree in Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. While obtaining her degree, Nina interned at House of Ruth Maryland, a counseling center focusing on empowering and healing victims of domestic violence.
After the completion of her master's degree, she worked as a therapist for an outpatient mental health agency, Contemporary Family Services.
Now in private practice for over ten years, Nina has experience in treating clients with severe mental illness, as well as treating clients who are stressed out, stuck, or looking to make any positive changes in their lives.
Areas of focus include depression, anxiety, self-esteem issues, body-image issues, communication and coping skills, trauma/PTSD, and anger management.
Nina believes that counseling can be the first step toward living a life of happiness, health, and wholeness. In addition to her counseling career, Nina brings over fifteen years of expertise as an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) to her practice. Combining the western therapy model with eastern mind-body approaches is a passion that she shares with many of her clients.
As a counselor and yoga instructor, she hopes to create a safe space for listening, empathy, and change. Nina is licensed in both Ohio and South Carolina, and offers virtual teletherapy sessions for clients in those states, as well as in-person sessions in Charleston, SC.
Whether through EMDR or trauma-informed yoga, I guide you toward uniting your body and soul to live a grounded, free life.
You deserve to heal—peace by piece.
